In my opinion, this show is ok…nowhere near as good or memorable as the original but ok.
In regard with the animation quality, is it just me or do others also feel that some of the characters look good while some (e.g. Orko, Skeletor) are not upto the mark 🙁
Thx admin. Unfortunately, He-Man isnt even in the series at all. Relegated to flashback scenes. All the male characters are bad or buffoons. SMH. Woke Hollywood for ya. Kudos for animation quality tho.

I doubt you are going to see this but I would urge you to watch it and don't go in just for He-Man. He is not being replaced and he cannot be replaced, so don't worry about that.
Just watch the show and I do mean really watch the show. Anyone who thinks that Teela is taking over has missed some crucial points in the show.
The show is not about a single character.
When your friend dies saving you and the universe and his parents are in shock and mourning their loss, you going to their home and smashing the gift they had given to you and shouting how YOU have been lied to by everyone and the friend who died and you deserve better is somehow extremely impeccable character development. Unbeatable. Teela was better in the other cartoons.

Seen it like 10 times now easily and I still think what I think. I still want you to focus on the faces at the end of the episode, like really look at the faces as you listen to the dialogues, there is a lot of emotion there even as they say the things you pointed out. It's very well done.

I like this series a lot. It looks good, has interesting characters and an intriguing plot. Can't wait to see more of Teela (voiced by Buffy herself). I hope she turns into She-Ra. And the show is called "Masters of the Universe" not "He-Man".

All the marketing was centered on He Man. Rewatch the trailer. Also Kevin Smith openly said that this show is He Man centered and not on Teela, when rumors came that this was a Teela show. So, people have a reason to be salty and also Teela is an asshole here. Imagine if SMG had a Buffy revival show with ads showing her, but she died at the 1st episode and Xander became the hero and he shit on Buffy for the rest of the show.
The only real question is why’d he lie? If he wanted to focus on side characters just say that. If this show is supposed to be about side characters, okay cool. Market it as that. Don't sell me on one character then tell me I should enjoy this completely different show than the one you promised me.
Why would she turn into She-Ra? She-Ra already exists in this universe, doesn't she? This is a sequel for the 1983 series yes? Then that won't happen however I do agree with you with everything else.
This is a really good show, it's a shame that people are not watching it with open minds and fresh eyes. All the reviews and that misleading trailer they put out has really done a lot of unnecessary damage.
Oh wow, now imagine Kevin Smith made She-Ra and replaced her with a male side character. The outrage would be real.

There's nothing wrong about a good critique of the show. We watch the show after all.
I find other users opinions helpful. When I'm writing about a movie/TV series, its my opinion only and I'm doing it to let the others know what they're in for (and its always IMHO only).

The original series will never fade from my memories. It was so damn good. This is just terrible. Couldn't even watch the 2nd episode.
