After watching E09 – IMHO one of the best sci-fi TV series as of late. Patience and attention are the key – one cannot watch it with a phone in your hand. Sorry kids, this one is for serious sci-fi aficionados 🙂
This is a slower paced show which focuses on drama more than action.
yes its a slower show, not everything needs to be an action packed formula marvel movie. I'm really enjoying the slow reveal and the character building.
I don't mind slow. Go watch Ame Agaru (After the Rain); I fucking love that movie.
But everything up until now could have easily taken place within three episodes.
There's slow, and then there's this.
Having said that, I'm going to continue watching, because it seems like it's finally picking up with ep 5.

I don't get the neg reviews….I'm halfway through the 3rd ep, and so far its been fast-paced with plenty of action, all while showing us the human side of the story we'd complain was missing later on.
If I had to make an analogy, I'd say Normandy hasn't yet happened, but Allied ships have been spotted off the coast, and paratroopers are landing behind German lines.
Def a watch for sci-fi fans!
I felt the same way. I watched this without seeing any trailers or even the synopsis. My guess is that people expected more screentime for the actual alien invasion but instead got a drama showing the human aspect of it.
I watched 4 eps so far – IMHO this is for mature sci-fi enthusiasts. Nothing spectacular, no laser guns or battles in space, well – not an alien in sight so far. It's more believable this way – and I really enjoy the series. BTW – WARNING – stay away from "4400" reboot series – it's a bloody travesty, way worse than "Roswell" new edition. What a waste of a good story.
It's beginning to drag on 2nd episode. Too much Drama and too many different perspectives which got me bored.I think I'll sit this one out.

He he 😁. Well as a computer operator, i Don't really have to do anything in Secret. But yes, i do watch family friendly content in office on free time. In my country, it kinda awkward to seeing English/ Foreign language content. Let alone those romantic scen(kissing🐸s). So yeah 10to4 work i can finish around 2 episode.
It's a drama & a comedy all rolled into one, Brother. The balance is perfect. That's the beauty & genius of Ted Lasso. If you're not into sport/Football & it bores you, then that's a massive obstacle from you liking/loving Ted Lasso. It's so much more than a Football show, though – it's an emotional rollercoaster, but Football is at the very core of it all. I'm sory to correct our Brother, Phil Dunphy ✌️ – but Football orientated/related content is center-stage atleast 50% of the time – not 5%. As a die-hard Football fan – this show is just incredible & right up my street. I love it so much. I get my Football aspect & everything else that's wonderful around it.
