Gets better and better. Started out what appeared as a woke story, has since then improved, much like Watchmen series.
It's also boring to me. Overkill on the racism. The liberal socialists woke movement is trying to rewrite history. The anti-white-man movement is around the world, in hollywood, liberal news, social tech giant corps, and most places. I believe in equal treatment! Treat others the way you want to be treated. Earn respect by respecting others. Was also hoping it would be like Z-Nation.
I was hyped after reading the description but honestly, it's a disappointment. There's nothing really new here besides the leads being indigenous, but the worst part is that it's kinda boring for a vampire hunter show.
I posted another comment I won't bother repeating, but from your comment history, I think you should give "Total Control" a try. The two Aboriginal leads from "Firebite" are in it, and its a pretty powerful Australian political thriller. I happened upon it by chance, and this recent 2nd season became a personal obsession….its like the reverse of "House of Cards," and with better scenery.
4.4/10 on IMDB. Can't say I've ever watched a modern TV series that was worth watching below a 7.
Its campy at times (nowhere near the level of "Z Nation"), but professional reviewers have been generally kind to it, and the IMDB episode ratings are quite high, compared to it's overall. Look at the negative reviews, and you'll see a lot of low ones from folks pissed its about Aboriginal folks who are unhappy with the way they've been historically treated. The lore is good, and the show is fun.
