Heads up–this is the R-rated version as the Unrated/NC-17 director's cut has never been released in HD. There is a 1080p torrent out there where the cut shots have been lovingly restored using the SD sources, but even the HD sequences look terrible compared to this one.
One quick question that I need some clarification from is if an audio track that you've re-encoded from a Dolby Atmos source for example with 7.1 channels and then you compress it to HE-AAC will the re-encoded audio track still work the same as it did before compression? For example will it have the height channels for rain and other sound effects etc?

I believe the Atmos metadata is only included in TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus soundtracks. It would have been removed in the conversion process.

Depends on your hardware. My MiBox can play DD+ Atmos, but not TrueHD Atmos. I need to roll it back to a previous version if I want to passthrough any HD audio.
If you can't play TrueHD Atmos perhaps you're better off saving the effort.
